On March 10th, the Defence Minister of Estonia, H.E. Mr. Jaak Aaviksoo visited the Baltic Defence College. Mr. Aaviksoo presented the opening address of Module IV (“ESDP in Regional Context”) of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) High Level Course held at the Baltic Defence College on 10-14 March 2008. During his visit to the College he had a meeting with Brigadier General Gundars Abols, the Commandant of the College. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views and ideas about the manning issues of BALTDEFCOL and keeping the College an international institution. The issue of international school and kindergarten for the family members of BALTDEFCOL staff members was also under discussion.
