Visit by the Finnish Navy Officers’ Association

On 19 September, nearly 40 navy officers, members of the Finnish Navy Officers’ Association (FNOA), visited the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL).

The FNOA officers were welcomed by the BALTDEFCOL Deputy Commandant and Chief of Staff, COL Axel Pfaffenroth with thorough briefing on BALTDEFCOL activities, structure and courses. The guests were introduced to the regional importance of the BALTDEFCOL and its relevance from the perspective of international defence education.

The FNOA visit to BALTDEFCOL concluded with a tour of the College building and students dormitory.

The visit provided to BALTDEFCOL and FNOA an excellent opportunity to support the good cooperation between our countries and officers.
