Visit by the General Staff Course from the German Führungsakademie

On the 27 March 2012, the Baltic Defence College hosted a visit from the German Führungsakademie and the delegation was accompanied by the German Defence Attaché, Lt. Col Axel Pfaffenroth. The aim of the visit by the nine General Staff Course officers and one faculty member was to see how BALTDEFCOL has developed its study activities and adapted the MA programme. The BALTDEFCOL Directing Staff members gave the Germans a thorough brief on the College areas of work, which was followed by a discussion on the academic part in courses’ curricula.

The German delegation also attended the lecture by the U.S. Rear Admiral Mark C. Montgomery and appreciated the opportunity to listen to the viewpoints and knowledge of the experienced Admiral highly.
