Visit by the Polish Ambassador H.E. Mr. Robert Filipczak

The Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) was honoured by the visit of H.E. Mr. Robert Filipczak, Ph.D., Ambassador of Poland to Estonia, on 17 October.



The Polish delegation consisting of Mr. Robert Filipczak, Ph.D., Ambassador of Poland to Estonia and COL Ryszard Zajac, Polish Defence Attaché were welcomed by Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, Commandant of the Baltic Defence College. Commandant expressed his appreciation to the Polish Ambassador for the support BALTDEFCOL receives from Poland.

A meeting with BALTDEFCOL delegation was headed by COL Axel Pfaffenroth, Deputy Commandant, who briefed the high level guest about BALTDEFCOL and future challenges. COL Remigijus Baltrenas, Course Director of the Joint Command and General Staff Course (JCGSC) and Civil Servants Course and COL Igors Rajevs, Course Director of the Higher Command Studies Course briefed the Polish Ambassador about Baltic Defence College courses and activities. COL Marek Stobnicki, Instructor of NATO Joint Operations participated in the meeting as well.



H.E. Mr. Robert Filipczak took office as Ambassador of Poland in Estonia in 2014. This was his first visit to BALTDEFCOL.
