Visit by the Swedish Reserve Officers Association

On 10th October 2016 the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) welcomed a delegation of the Swedish Reserve Officers Association “ROSIS” on the occasion of their Estonia Study Tour.

Colonel Axel Pfaffenroth, the BALTDEFCOL Deputy Commandant and Chief of Staff, together with Lieutenant Colonel Mats Melltorn, the Swedish National representative at BALTDEFCOL, provided the guests with an information briefing on the College´s history, mission, educational programs and international cooperation.

At the end of the briefing session aspects of regional security and defence, and of mutual support in educational matters were discussed. The guests completed the visit with a short tour of BALTDEFCOL.

The visit was also a good opportunity to appreciate Sweden’s contribution as a founding nation of the College and an important long-time supporter of the BALTDEFCOL’s courses and conferences.
