Visit by US Ambassador to Estonia

US Ambassador to Estonia H.E. Mr Michael C. Polt visited the BALTDEFCOL on 17 March.
H.E. Mr Polt, accompanied by the Chief of US Office of Defense Cooperation in Estonia LTC Robert R. Williams, had a meeting with the BALTDEFCOL Commandant BG Gundars Abols and the US contingent present in the BALTDEFCOL’s Directing Staff and student body. During the meeting BG Abols gave the American delegation a briefing about the BALTDEFCOL and various aspects of sustaining US involvement in the BALTDEFCOL in the future were discussed.

The program ended with a lunch with selected students of the JCGSC 2009/2010 during which open and frank discussion on different aspects was held.

H.E. Mr Michael C. Polt was appointed as the Ambassador to Estonia on 25 September 2009.
