On November 27, 2023, the Ambassador of France to the Republic of Estonia, Mr Emmanuel Mignot and Defence Attache LTC Frédéric Contal visited the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL). After the welcome address by the BALTDEFCOL leadership, Ambassador Mignot and Defence Attache Contal received a briefing on BALTDEFCOL — its mission, vision, academic courses, ongoing activities and future developments, providing visiting officials with a detailed understanding of the host institution's role in regional security and defence education.

The visit involved discussions on bilateral relations, defence cooperation, and regional security issues. Such meetings strengthen ties and exchange perspectives on various matters of mutual interest.
