On November 23, 2023, H.E. Mr Laird Hindle, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Estonia, visited the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL). The Ambassador was welcomed by the BALTDEFCOL Commandant Brigadier General Alvydas Šiuparis, and the members of the BALTDEFCOL Management Group and Faculty. The visit started with the guestbook signing and the BALTDEFCOL presentation, where the main activities – courses and academic events – were introduced.


H.E. Mr Laird Hindle visited BALTDEFCOL to engage with the academic and military community, discuss matters of mutual interest, and explore opportunities for collaboration between Canada and the Baltic region, particularly in defence and security studies. Such visits foster international relations, promote educational partnerships, and create a platform for dialogue on shared concerns.
