Visit of MG Jeff Drushal, Commanding General of U.S. Army Security Assistance Command

On 6th of November 2019, the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) hosted a visit by MG Jeff Drushal, Commander of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. MG Drushal was welcomed by COL Jean Trudel and members of the College Management Group. The purpose of the visit was to engage BALTDEFCOL senior leaders, U.S. instructors, and students of the Joint Command and General Staff Course (JCGSC).

The visit included a Command Brief highlighting the College’s core mission and intent, it’s academic approach to educating senior leaders and civilians, and it’s diverse multinational population. The visit also included discussions regarding U.S. support to future BALTDEFCOL initiatives, Baltic Sea regional threats and Baltic states’ security cooperation; and a lecture delivered by MG Drushal to JCGSC students entitled, ‘Synchronizing Operational Level Logistics and Transportation: A U.S. Commander’s Perspective’.
