On 07 November 2022, Ms. Gabrielle Cowan, the US Embassy's chargé d’affaires in Tallinn, and Bryan Burke, US Embassy Political Officer, visited the Baltic Defence College to discuss the newly released US National Security Strategy and how it relates to US security interests in the Baltics.
After the classroom discussion, Ms Cowan accompanied by Mr Burke and US Senior National Representative LTC John D. Looney, met with the Deputy Commandant and Dean to discuss ongoing cooperation and future opportunities. During the discussion, Ms. Cowan identified the unique value of the Baltic Defence College to provide a multinational education environment that builds and strengthens our NATO Alliances and Partnerships. It was also an opportunity to deliberate educational opportunities between BALTDEFCOL and US Professional Military education institutions.
