Visit of the Alumni Association of the French National Institute

On 18th May fifteen members of the Alumni Association of the French National Institute for the Advanced Studies in Defence visited the Baltic Defence College.

The Commandant of BALTDEFCOL, MG Vitalijus Vaikšnoras welcomed the visitors by pointing out the importance of international cooperation  and exchange of views in the area of modern professional military education.

During the visit the guests were briefed by the Chief of Staff, COL Axel Pfaffenroth on BALTDEFCOL´s mission, courses and on cooperation with France.  The visitors also had the opportunity to discuss topical issues related to the defence and security of the Baltic States with BALTDEFCOL´s  Dean and a representative of the Department of Political and Strategic Studies.
