Visit to North American Military Educational Institutions

Delegation of the Baltic Defence College recently completed a visit to the Royal Military College of Canada, the Canadian Forces College, and the United States Marine Corps University.

The Dean, Dr. Augustine Meaher, the Director of the High Command Studies Course Colonel Igors Rajevs, and the High Command Studies Academic Coordinator Mr. James Rogers visited these sister Professional Military Educational institutions to learn about the latest developments in Professional Military Education in North America and to advise their North American colleagues of the most recent developments at the Baltic Defence College and identify possible avenues of future collaboration and potential avenues of deeper collaboration. The Baltic Defence College believes that cooperation with North American institutions is an essential element of remaining multinational and future focused.

The participation of North American faculty and students also contributes to the security of the Baltic States while Baltic Defence College have and will contribute to North American professional military education by providing guest lectures and serving as subject matter experts.
