Visit to the Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia

The Commandant of the Baltic Defence College major general Vitalijus Vaikšnoras paid a working visit to the Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia (NDA) from 15th – 16th March 2016.

The eventful schedule of the visit included a comprehensive programme of briefing about NDA, its activities, existing schools and educational system as well as intensive bilateral discussions on various topics. The leadership of NDA was interested in the Baltic Defence College’s (BALTDEFCOL) experience in establishing itself as a unique multinational cooperation project, its courses, MA programme and research activities.

Both sides expressed the utmost importance of sharing expertise and experience to support a common goal. The Baltic Defence College is looking forward to increased cooperation and a deeper partnership with the Georgian Defence Academy.

The Commandant of the BALTDEFCOL appreciates all the support and the warm welcome given by the Georgian side, both NDA and the Georgian Ministry of Defence, during his visit to Georgia.
