NATO Comprehensive Operations Planning Course (COPC) Now In Progress

The NATO Comprehensive Operations Planning Course (COPC) takes place at the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) from 11 to 22 November. This year, 29 participants from 9 countries are attending this course.

COPC is a two-week program designed to train military officers (OF-3/OF-4) and civil servants from NATO and Partnership for Peace (PfP) nations in operational-level planning. Based on the Comprehensive Operations Planning Directive (COPD), the course prepares participants to serve as planners or functional area specialists in joint operational headquarters. The curriculum includes short lectures, syndicate-led practical exercises, individual assignments, and formative tests. Participants are required to complete an online preparatory course before attending.

Good luck to all the participants of the course!
