The Commander of the French Rapid Reaction Corps lecture the Joint Command and General Staff Course

Lieutenant General Eric Margail, the Commander of the French Rapid Reaction Corps (RRC-FR) accompanied by Colonel Vincent Saint Denis and Lieutenant Colonel Alain Moulia, French Defence Attaché visited the Baltic Defence College on 20 November 2015. Our distinguished guest was welcomed by the Commandant of the college, Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras for a brief office call, during which a short overview of BALTDEFCOL, and its courses, priorities and future plans was given.

The programme at the college continued with Lieutenant General Eric Margail’s lecture on “Rapid Reaction Corps France, the highest operational and deployable command of the French Army” to JCGSC. The Commander gave a detailed overview on current status of RRC-FR, briefed the students on its mission and development plan for the future, describing the organization as a three-fold tool: operational, training as well doctrine and influence tool.

Lieutenant General Eric Margail was in BALTDEFCOL in the framework of a working visit to Estonia.
