On 20 September, the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) was honoured to host an insightful lecture by the Minister of Education and Research of the Republic of Estonia, Prof. Kristina Kallas, on the topic of “The ‘Russian’ Question in the Baltic States: Russian Minority as a Geopolitical Security Issue.”

Held at BALTDEFCOL City Hub, the lecture provided an in-depth analysis of the complexities surrounding the Russian-speaking minority in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania and how their presence has become a key factor in the region's geopolitical security landscape to the students for Command Senior Enlisted Leaders' Course (CSELC) 2024.
